I BELONG TO GOD’S FAMILY
In Lesson Three, we
learned that when we believe and confess Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we
become God’s children; we are joined immediately to the Family of God or God’s
Household in a spiritual kingdom known as the Kingdom of God.
(Read Eph
2:19-22)
What is God’s Family like?
- All believers are members of God’s household
- All believers are citizens of the same Kingdom – the Kingdom of God
- We should not treat any believer as a stranger in God’s Kingdom
- God is the Father of all members of His Household
- God dwells among His children in His Kingdom
- All believers are joined together in the Family of God
- All believers should support one another in the Kingdom
- God’s Family is stronger when all believers stay together in unity
CONFESSION: I belong to the Kingdom of God and God is my
Father.
PRAYER: Lord, open my eyes to understand the mystery
of the Kingdom of God so I can live by the principles that govern it, in Jesus
name
