TEACH THEM TO OBEY - LESSON SEVENTEEN

POWER OVER SIN

When Jesus Christ died, all believers died with him. We also rose with Him in his resurrection into a new life, which is the life of God. Believers have also died to sin and have been given power to resist sin. We are therefore to die to sin daily by putting to death the misdeeds of the body, and to live a new life in obedience to God. (Rom 6:8-18)

What is Sin?
  1. The original-language Bible word for sin means “to miss the mark or target”
