TEACH THEM TO OBEY - LESSON SIXTEEN

POWER AND AUTHORITY OVER SATAN

Believers have been given power and authority over the devil, just as Jesus had power over Satan. Satan and his demons were once angels of God. They were created perfect, but sin was found in them and they rebelled against God, and were cast down (Ezek 28:15, Rev 12:7-9, Isaiah 14:12-14).
Satan is now the number one enemy of God. He is also the enemy of all believers and is working very hard to harm us and also stop us from obeying God. But Jesus defeated Satan for us when he died on the cross, and gave us power to overcome him and his demons. (Lk 10:19)
